Our first shop is now open in Margate's Old Kent Market. We have lots of artisanal produce from Campania, including cheeses, honeys, salami, our family's tomato sauce, chocolates and of course fresh homemade organic pasta.

We drove to a beautiful house over in Ash, near Ramsgate to cook a private dinner party. A menu inspired by the coast of Campania with a squid dish from Naples, a sea bass dish from Amalfi and a marinated salmon recipe from cilento. If you are interested in Private Dining please send us an email.

We are super excited to begin supplying the lovley guys at Eat 17 with our pasta, lasagne, cannelloni, tiramisu', sauces, passata! It's a new thing for us so it will take some time to establish the right packaging etc but all of the food is made by us (Simona & Harry), using as always the very best locally sourced ingredients from both here in Kent and back home in Campania. Saturday's Supper Club was a great success! Some beautiful cheeses, meats and pickles from Simona's family and friends back home, followed by pea & squid stew and Worgan's beef & pork cannelloni. Tiramisu and then homemade crema di limoncello & chocolates. We look forward to the next Supper Club in June.

We are delighted that we are now getting our free range organic eggs from Dick and Claire at Woodpecker Farm over in Chilham. The eggs are unbelievably fantastic and are laid the day before we make our pasta. These eggs combined with the flours that we import fom our village Foglianise make our fresh pasta the tastiest, healthiest and most delicious pasta there is.

We had our second Supper Club last night at our lovely home here in Canterbury. Simona's mum Maria flew over to help make the 5 courses of real regional Italian cooking. All of the produce was from either Simona's village or from here in Canterbury and its local farms.
It was a particularly cold and wet evening so we had prosecco in the front room with the log fire roaring to warm everyone while Simona and Maria finished off the preparation for the meal in the kitchen. We had 13 guests and once warm we moved through to the (extended) kitchen table.
Three cheeses from the Mountain. Two sheep, one of them a fresh pecorino, the other made with dried chilli, and a hard, nutty cows cheese. Some sausages from a neighbouring village Castelpoto which is famous in the region for its sausages (they have a sausage festival every August). Harry baked some bread with semolina flour and olive oil, and we put bowls of pickled vegetables from Simona's grandads garden out. To finish the antipasti we served stuffed peppers.
Next up was a kale, bean & pancetta stew (the pancetta made by Simona's grandma from her pigs).
Homemade mushroom ravioli with a wild mushroom and white truffle sauce.
And then the evenings centrepiece - Maria's Parmigiana.
People are full now. For a true Italian experience you need to be bursting with a few courses still to come. Tiramisu is for dessert, again lovingly made by Maria, rich and velvety yet light and moreish even after so much food. Local chocolates - Alberti Torrene Tenero - from Benevento then finishes with a bottle of a neighbours cherry liquor.

Happy New Year everyone! We have a small amount of Simona's uncles delicious Extra Virgin Olive Oil to sell. The olives are hand picked by Antonio and Simona's mum Maria and pressed in the village olive mill. It's beautifully light and perfumed and 100% natural. Click here to read more.

Our Pasta Workshop Vouchers are now available to buy either online or from us when we are at The Goods Shed. Choose a beginners lesson for £25 or an intermediate lesson for £35. Lessons are with us here in Canterbury.

We had our first day at The Goods Shed on Friday November 6th. Thanks to everyone who came and supported us and helped us to sell nearly all of the 50 boxes of pasta that we made as well as lots of sauce, jam and chilli. Also a big thank you to everyone at The Goods Shed for making us feel so welcome.
