We have lots of wonderful wines from the south of Italy either to drink with us or to enjoy at home.
Southern Italian food
Ciao we're Simona & Harry. We have a shop & kitchen in Margate Old Town that specialises in food, wine and recipes from Campania in the south of Italy. Simona's from here, a small village called Foglianise which is an hour or so east of Naples, high up in the mountains.
We import lots of artisanal produce from this small area known as Sannio including cheeses, salumi, nduja, wine, pickles, olive oil and our family's tomato sauces, all of which are all available to buy in our shop.
Lunch is available Thursday - Sunday, and Friday evenings for dinner. We make fresh pasta using artisanal ingredients from both Campania and Kent, we host Supper Clubs every month, teach Pasta Classes and Italian lessons, and have lots of lovely Italian books, DVDs and music so if you're an Italianophile, come and say ciao.
